Russian firm Metafrax acquires Dynea Austria

Metafrax (Gubakha, Russia) has acquired a 100% holding in Dynea Austria (Krems, Austria), a producer of formaldehyde and urea-formaldehyde resins, the company announced today. This follows approval from Austrian antitrust authorities. Metafrax says the deal should close in the next few days. Dynea Austria had sales of €144 million ($188 million) in 2012.
