Royal Dutch Shell names former chemicals chief van Beurden CEO

The board of Royal Dutch Shell announced today that Ben van Beurden will succeed Peter Voser as CEO, effective 1 January 2014. Peter Voser will leave Shell at the end of March 2014, ending 29 years with the company.
