Rosneft, Pirelli sign deal for rubber R&D partnership in Armenia

Rosneft (Moscow), Oil Techno (Yerevan, Armenia), and tire manufacturer Pirelli have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for joint R&D related to synthetic rubber, in particular styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), in Armenia, Pirelli has announced. SBR is used in the production of green tires that improve fuel efficiency and enhance grip in wet and dry conditions.
