Report: Ineos mulling sale of PVC plant in Germany

Ineos may be considering selling its polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant at Schkopau, Germany to gain approval from the European Commission for the previously announced PVC joint venture between Ineos and Solvay, according to press reports. Ineos's PVC plant at Schkopau has a nameplate capacity for 280,000 m.t./year of PVC, according to IHS Chemical data.
