Praxair forms industrial gases JV with KuibyshevAzot in Russia

Praxair says it has entered into a definitive agreement to form a joint venture with chemical company KuibyshevAzot (Togliatti, Russia), in central Russiaâ€™s Samara region, to produce and sell industrial gases. The jv will produce on-site oxygen, nitrogen and compressed dry air for KuibyshevAzotâ€™s expanding caprolactam, fertilizer and ammonia production, as well as liquid oxygen, nitrogen and argon for sale to customers in the Volga region in Russia, Praxair says.
