PetroChina’s chemicals business loss widens

PetroChina’s refining and chemicals business segment recorded an operating loss of 20 billion renminbi ($3.3 billion) in the first nine months of 2013, compared with an operating loss of Rmb37.39 billion in the first nine months of 2012.
