Pemex's petchem production volume falls 7.1%

Pemex's petrochemical products generated 7.64 billion Mexican pesos ($618 million) in domestic sales during the first quarter of 2013, a drop of 17.1% compared with the year-ago quarter. Revenue from petrochemical exports fell by almost 42%, to peso432 million. Petrochemical earnings were not disclosed. Total production volumes of petrochemicals decreased by 7.1% during the first quarter of the year, to 1.18 million m.t.
