Nalco's Second-Quarter Earnings Double

Nalco's second-quarter earnings were $41.8 million, nearly double year-ago results, on sales up 9%, to $970.9 million. "We continued to make good progress in the second quarter on our cost savings initiatives, new product introductions, and sales growth efforts," says chairman and CEO William Joyce.
