Ineos Nitriles and Tianjin Bohai to form acrylonitrile joint venture

Ineos Nitriles has signed a heads of terms agreement with Tianjin Bohai Chemical Industry Group to create an equally owned joint venture to produce acrylonitrile, the company announced today. The new partnership will build and operate a 260,000-m.t./year plant at Tianjin, China. This will be the joint venture’s initial capacity with a possibility to expand in the future.
