Helium Stewardship Act passed

The Helium Stewardship Act of 2013 has been passed by both the US Senate and House of Representatives—preventing the pending shutdown of the Federal Helium Reserve, which would have dramatically reduced and destabilized the global helium supply, experts say. The Senate passed its own version of the bill last month by a 97-2 vote.
