Evonik to expand C4-chain capacity in Germany and Belgium

Evonik will develop its C4 products chain with the expansion of its butene-1 capacity at the Marl Chemical Park (Marl, Germany), and by expanding its butadiene capacity at Antwerp and its methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) production at Antwerp and Marl, the company announced today. The expansions are scheduled to be onstream in 2015.
