Equate Delays EG Restart10:51 AM MDT | August 29, 2012 Equate says the re-start of its ethylene glycol (EG) plant, which was shut down for repairs on August 2, 2012, following a fire in July, will be delayed by approximately two months. The Shuaiba, Kuwait based plant has a capacity for 550,000 m.t./year of EG. The facility is expected onstream in mid November. Separately, Sabic's subsidiary Sharq Eastern Petrochemical plans to take its 700,000 m.t./year EG plant offline at the beginning of September for a 10-week...
