DuPont Settles Patent Infringement Suit

DuPont says it has settled a lawsuit it filed earlier this year against Jiangsu Trustchem Chemicals Co. that alleged Trustchem infringed DuPont's patented Rimsulfuron herbicide. Under the settlement, Trustchem will pay DuPont an undisclosed amount and will make a public apology to DuPont. DuPont says it has filed similar patent infringement actions against several other companies, issued numerous "cease and desist" letters, and is actively investigating several other businesses in China that are suspected to violating DuPont...
