Dragon Aromatics para-xylene project set for trial runs

Dragon Aromatics (Xiamen, China), also called Tenglong Aromatic PX, will begin trial operation of the previously announced para -xylene ( p -xylene) plant at Gulei, near Zhangzhou, China, later this month, say press reports. The 800,000-m.t./year p -xylene project was relocated from Xiamen after protests by residents of Xiamen caused construction of the plant to be halted in 2007.
