Dow: Sadara on track for 2015

Dow Chemical and Saudi Aramco’s joint-venture megaproject, Sadara Chemical, is on budget and on schedule, with 90% of the engineering, 70% of the procurement, and 20–25% of the construction complete, says Dow CFO William Weideman. Weideman made the comments during a 26 September conference call updating investors on the $19.4-billion project’s progress. Located at Jubail, Saudi Arabia, Sadara will comprise 26 production units.
