Dow-Davy technology selected by Sinopec12:27 PM MST | February 19, 2013 Dow Chemical and Davy Process Technology (DPT; London), a Johnson Matthey subsidiary, say that a subsidiary of Sinopec has selected LP Oxo technology to produce 2-ethylhexanol, normal butanol, and iso butanol in a new plant at Anqing, Anhui Province, China. The new LP Oxo unit will be built by Sinopec Corporation Anqing and will have capacities of 100,000 m.t./year of 2-ethylhexanol, 115,000 m.t./year of normal butanol, and 23,000 m.t./year of iso butanol.
