Cytec and Dralon consider carbon fiber collaboration

Cytec and Dralon GmbH (Cologne, Germany) say they are exploring a collaboration to develop and market large tow industrial-grade carbon fiber for industrial applications. The collaboration would include products for the automotive industry, where automakers are looking into technology that can reduce the weight of cars, increasing fuel efficiency.
