Croda's second-quarter profit before tax stood at £68 million ($89.5 million), up 6.1% on the same period the year before, the company announced today. Ebit was also up 4.4%, to £71.1 million, during the reported period. Overall sales grew by 2.3% during the second quarter of 2013, to £279.6 million, compared with £273.4 million in the second quarter last year.
