Codexis, Chemtex startup cellulosic detergent alcohols unit

Codexis and Chemtex (Tortona, Italy), a chemical engineering and renewable technology firm, announced it has successfully started production of their newly developed cellulosic detergent alcohols. The companies began production at a 1,500-liter demonstration facility at Chemtex’s R&D complex at Tortona, Italy.
