Clariant says it completed phase two of Europe's Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (Reach) program by the 31 May deadline, with the registration of 255 chemical substances. Clariant acted as lead registrant on 155 of the dossiers submitted. Clariant accounted for 5.3% of all first-time entries registered in the European Union during Reach's second phase.
