Bayer CropScience acquires businesses in Brazil11:08 AM MST | March 7, 2013 Bayer CropScience, a subgroup of Bayer, says that it has signed an agreement to acquire the soybean seed company Wehrtec and the soy business of Agricola Wehrmann, which are both headquartered at Cristalina, Brazil. Bayer CropScience says it has also acquired the soy germplasm bank from Melhoramento Agropastoril (Cascavel, Brazil).
