BASF to expand emulsions plant at Chattanooga, TN

BASF says it will expand production at its Chattanooga, TN, emulsion polymers plant, adding capability for production of styrene-acrylic (SA) emulsion polymers. The expanded plant will serve the paper, paperboard, and carpet industries in North America. The plant, which currently produces styrene-butadiene emulsion polymers, will add swing capacity enabling the production of SA emulsion polymers.
