Altana acquires US firm ChemCor12:21 PM MST | December 7, 2012 Altana says it has signed a contract to acquire the business of ChemCor (Chester, NY), a manufacturer of specialty wax additives. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. ChemCor produces water-based wax products and specialty additives for a wide range of industries including floor finishes, exterior paint and deck stains, graphic arts coatings and inks, as well as mold release products, Altana says.
