ACC today released its global chemical regional production index (Global CPRI), showing a 0.1% rise on a three-month moving average (3MMA) basis in Julyâ€”indicating that growth remained tepid at the start of the second half. Production gains occurred in North America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia/Pacific, ACC says. Chemical production contracted in Latin America and Europe.
