US Water Services acquires treatment firm in Mid-Atlantic

US Water Services (St. Michael, MN) has acquired Water Chemical Service (Waterchem; Aberdeen, MD), a maker of pathogen control products, for an undisclosed sum, the company says. The deal includes Waterchem’s production facility at Aberdeen as well as nearby sales regions in Maryland, Delaware, the District of Columbia, and Philadelphia. “The acquisition of Waterchem increases US Water’s presence on the east coast and adds to our fast-growing national footprint.
