Markets :: Specialty Chemicals :: Water treatment Teijin to Develop Wastewater Treatment Systems for Chinese City12:54 AM MDT | April 15, 2010 | Deepti Ramesh Teijin says it has signed a business collaboration agreement with Yixing City Water Works & Construction Investment, which manages water supply and sewage systems for the city of Yixing, China, to co-develop wastewater treatment systems for rural communities. The agreement was formed in cooperation with Membrane-Tec, a Japanese manufacturer of membrane filtration units for water treatment, Teijin says. A small pilot system will be tested in the village of Dagang, China, in June, and full-scale operation is expected sometime during the fiscal year ending March...
