Post Capital portfolio company buys cleaning chemicals firm

Food safety and water treatment chemicals maker BHS Specialty Chemicals (Nampa, ID), which is owned by private equity firm Post Capital, has acquired Steam Engineering (SEI; Vancouver, WA), a maker of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals for food processing and water treatment, the company says. Financial details of the deal, including the purchase price, were not disclosed.
