Nalco says it will raise prices for specialty chemicals sold to the paper industry by a minimum of 8%-12%, effective January 1, 2008. BASF says it will boost global prices for kaolin clay sold to the paper industry and specialty markets, including paints and coatings, plastics, rubber, and wire and cable by up to $19.80/m.t. for hydrous products, and up to $55/m.t. for calcinated products...
