Kemira's fourth-quarter revenue up 3%

Kemira’s revenue increased 3%, to €558.5 million ($755.4 million) during the fourth quarter of 2012, mainly because of continued sales volumes growth, especially in the company's paper chemicals, and municipal and industrial water treatment segments. The group’s operative Ebit during the fourth quarter stood at €15.6 million, down from the €65.9 reported during the last quarter of 2011. Kemira started to implement its Fit for Growth global restructuring program, launched at the end of July 2012, to improve the company's...
