Markets :: Specialty Chemicals :: Water treatment Kemira to Build Facility in China; Forms Joint Venture in India1:12 AM MDT | September 7, 2010 | Deepti Ramesh Kemira says it will invest €25 million ($32 million) to build a manufacturing facility at Nanjing, China to serve the growing Chinese water treatment market. The facility will be a regional production hub for a range of specialty process chemicals serving all of Kemira's customer segments. The plant, which will be located in the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park (NCIP) about 300 kilometers northwest from Shanghai, is expected to become operational in 2012.
