Kemira Reverses Decision About U.S. Plant Closure

Kemira says it has decided not to close its water treatment plant at Columbus, GA. The plant was due to be closed as part of Kemira's plans announced last year to re-focus its paper chemicals business. The plant has been re-tooled to offer a tailored product mix to meet the needs of customers in the oil and gas industry, instead of the previous focus on the paper industry.
