Kemira Announces Restructuring Initiative

Kemira has announced a restructuring plan to improve its profitability. The plan includes aligning its pulp and paper and water treatment operations to ensure synergies between those businesses. Kemira will also appoint a separate board of directors for Kemira Coatings, comprising some external members, in order to emphasize the “independent nature” of the business.
