FMC Acquires Environmental Technology Firm

FMC has acquired the assets of Adventus Intellectual Property (Mississauga, Ontario), a an environmental technology and services company from investment firms Covington Capital and VentureLink Innovation Fund, the company says. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Adventus holds patents for bioremidation materials and systems related to chlorinated organic compounds, pesticides, and hazardous metals.
