Dow Invests in Filtration Technology Start-Up

Dow Chemical's venture capital group has made a $1.5 million investment in Clean Filtration Technologies, Inc. (Redwood City, CA), the companies announced today. Clean Filtration Technologies is the maker of a water filtration device designed to reduce total suspended solids from difficult to filter water. The company's device will reach commercialization in the U.S. and Mexico in the second half of this year.
