Chempoint expands distribution agreement with Dow Wolff Cellulosics

Chempoint.com (Bellevue, WA), a subsidiary of Univar that distributes fine and specialty chemicals, has expanded a distribution agreement with Dow Chemical’s subsidiary Dow Wolff Cellulosics unit to include distribution of Dow's “Polyox” water soluble resins in Central-Eastern Europe and Turkey. Polyox resins are nonionic, water-soluble poly (ethylene oxide) polymers that have high molecular weights and are viscoelastic—which allows their aqueous solutions to reduce potential spattering and misting, Dow says.
