Calgon Carbon earnings up, sales fall on weaker demand

Calgon Carbon today reported stronger earnings for the fourth quarter, though sales were down on weaker demand. Net income of $11 million was up 20% year-on-year, with earnings per share of 20 cts/share in line with analysts' estimates, according to Thomson Reuters.
