Markets :: Specialty Chemicals :: Textile chemicals Huntsman Completes Acquisition of Indian Textile Dyes Unit10:08 PM MDT | June 22, 2009 | Deepti Ramesh Huntsman says that its Textile Effects division has completed the previously announced acquisition of a manufacturing facility for the production of intermediates and specialty products for textiles at Baroda, India from Metrochem Industries (Baroda). Huntsman first announced its plans to acquire the facility in July 2007, for $46.5 million. The Baroda facility currently has more than 700 employees and contractors, and annual sales of about Rs.2.4 billion ($50 million).
