Huntsman Adjusted Earnings Rise 13% on Price Increases

Huntsman’s fourth-quarter net income rose 350% year-on-year, to $105 million, or 44 cts/share, on revenues up 9%, to $2.6 billion. However, results in both quarters were significantly impacted by special items. Excluding these items, adjusted earnings for the fourth-quarter totaled $68 million, or 28 cts/share, up 13% from the year-ago period.
