Markets :: Specialty Chemicals :: Textile chemicals DyStar Divests Production Site in Germany8:35 AM MDT | September 8, 2010 | Ian Young CBW Chemie (Bitterfeld Wolfen, Germany) and WeylChem Group (Frankfurt) have agreed jointly to acquire DyStar's (Frankfurt) production site at Brunsbüttel, Germany. Completion of the deal is due in October 2010. The site forms part of the Bayer Industrial Park at Brunsbüttel and currently produces mainly reactive dyes. It has 2,500 cu meters of reactor capacity for the production of up to 25,000 m.t./year of dyes. It also has reactor trains for halogen exchange and for reactions with phosgene.
