Clariant to Stop Production at Leather Chemical Unit in France

Clariant says it intends to stop producing leather chemicals at its Graulhet, France site by year-end and cut 19 jobs at the site. The move is part of the company’s plan to optimize the plant, Clariant says. Clariant says it is still in negotiations with union representatives, and so it does not have a specific date for the production shutdown.
