Bodal Chemicals to Open Sulfuric Acid Plant

Bodal Chemicals (Ahmedabad, India), a manufacturer of dyes and dye intermediates, says it will open a 450 m.t./day-sulfuric acid plant at Padra, near Vadodara, India later this month. The company says it has invested about Rs620 million ($13.5 million) on the project. The trial run of the facility has been completed successfully and commercial production will begin on July 25.
