Huntsman inaugurates reactive dye expansion in Thailand

Huntsman Textile Effects (THE; Singapore), a division of Huntsman Corp., has inaugurated a specialty synthesis unit at Mahachai, Thailand, further strengthening its manufacturing capability and presence in the Asian textile market, Huntsman announced today. The new specialty synthesis unit produces reactive dyes. The inauguration follows a $12.5-million upgrade of the plant, bringing the total investment there to $17.5 million. The initial $5.0-million investment was made in 2008 to make the facility a global center for the production of wool dyes.  ...
