Dow says it will increase prices by 3 cts/lb for certain North American nonylphenol ethoxylate surfactants, as well as certain polyethylene and methoxypolyethylene glycols, effective June 1. The company cites strong demand and high raw material costs. Pilot raised off-list prices by 1 cts/lb-10 cts/lb, depending on product, on a range of surfactants including: alcohol and ether sulfates; calamides; detergent concentrates; emulsion aids; oil solubles; and specialty products.
