Surfactants Prices Rise

Dow Chemical and Pilot Chemical have each raised surfactants prices. Dow says it will increase prices by 3 cts/lb for certain North American nonylphenol ethoxylate surfactants, as well as certain polyethylene and methoxypolyethylene glycols, effective June 1. The company cites strong demand and high raw material costs.
