(Tokyo) says that its Kao Indonesia Chemicals (Bekasi, Indonesia) subsidiary will construct a new plant for the production of surfactants at the Karawan International Industry City (KIIC), located in the suburbs of Jakarta. The new surfactants plant, which is expected to come online next year, will increase annual surfactant production capacity of Kao Indonesia Chemicals, by about 50%.
