Taminco Starts Up DMAPA Unit at St. Gabriel, LA Facility

Methylamines and derivatives producer Taminco (Ghent, Belgium) says it has started up a new dimethylaminopropylamine (DMAPA) unit at its St. Gabriel, LA production facility. DMAPA is primarily used as a raw material for amine oxides and betaines both of which are surfactants used in personal care and household products, including detergents, shampoos, and liquid body wash.
