Novozymes reports 9% increase in fourth-quarter revenue; appoints new CEO

Novozymes (Bagsvaerd, Denmark) generated a 9% year-on-year increase in revenue during the fourth quarter of 2012, amounting to 2.8 billion Danish kroner ($499.5 million), the company said today. The company’s net profit for the quarter stood at DK493 million, 36% above the profit declared during the fourth quarter of 2011.
