U.S. Silicas Market to Hit $1.7 Billion in 2013

The U.S. market for specialty silicas is projected to increase 3.7%/year to $1.7 billion in 2013, according to a report by Freedonia (Cleveland, OH), a market research firm. Growth in the sector is being driven by “healthy advances in the large precipitated silica segment,” Freedonia says.
