The expansion was driven by increased demand for high-performance tire applications, Lanxess says. “The additional production also enhances our capability to meet the U.S. demand for domestic cobalt polybutadiene with complementary neodymium PBR grades,” says Timothy Rae, head of marketing/Nafta in Lanxess’s PBR business.
