Hexagon Acquires Ohio Compounder

Hexagon Polymers (Gothenburg, Sweden) says it has agreed to acquire rubber compounding company Gold Key Processing (Middlefield, OH). Terms were not disclosed. Gold Key has annual sales of about $75 million. Gold Key operates a 35,000-m.t./year rubber compound plant at Middlefield, and supplies the aerospace, automotive, construction, industrial, and pharmaceutical markets.
