Arkema to expand its global bis-peroxide capacity

Arkema says it will debottleneck bis-peroxide capacity at both its Spinetta, Italy, and Franklin, VA plants by 15%. Neither the existing capacity, nor the amount of the investment were disclosed. Arkema is one of the main manufacturers of bis-isopropylbenzene-peroxide, an organic peroxide used in the crosslinking of rubber. "This new capacity... will allow Arkema to follow the growth of our clients, which is expected to be strong especially in Asia.
